Last year, Storex Self Storage opened a new 3 storey, global flagship Storex Self-Storage Scheme in Watford, London. Constructed by Modus, Storex Watford provides fully digitalised state-of-the-art security for customers, had a biodiverse roof, and achieved BREEAM ‘Excellent’ (72.4%).
The scheme hosts some impressive environmentally friendly attributes including 60,067 kWh annual yield from 176 PV panels, biodiverse roof, full LED lighting, EV charging spaces and recycled concrete from site clearance used as piling mat and sub-base.
At the end of 2024, we were asked by Modus to carry out some drone filming of new biodiverse roof & PV array. They were very pleased with the resulting film, and we hope you enjoy it too!
