Work is underway on the COMET Project at the University of South Wales, creating a new building to provide teaching, research, and support space for the Built Environment, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace, Informatics and Electronics, and Computer and Data Science departments at the Treforest Campus in Pontypridd, South Wales. One of the key principles of the COMET project and the new building is to promote interdisciplinary working by making the activities that are taking place visible and accessible. The project is being delivered by being delivered by BAM Construction.
Two of our time-lapse cameras are on site capturing the work, which is expected to be complete by the end of Summer 2026, ready for students arriving in the Autumn. We are delighted to be working with the University of South Wales again, and can’t wait to see how it looks when it’s done!
