Merchant’s Wharf is a new-build residential development next to the River Irwell in Salford. It is just 850m from Manchester city centre and 1.2km from Salford Quays. The stylish new scheme brings over 196 waterfront apartments to a newly established neighbourhood. These consist of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartment layouts, ideal for flat sharing friends and working professionals in the surrounding areas. The development will also include onsite amenities including a gym, car parking and a concierge service.
In the 18th and 19th centuries, the area was a dyeworks. Velvet and other fabrics were tinted and then exported all over the globe. The site has fallen into disuse and is now set to be transformed as part of a wider regeneration initiative, working towards creating a mixed-use zone on this post-industrious landscape.
Regenology have installed a time-lapse camera onsite for one of our regular clients, Legacie Developments. We are looking forward to seeing how the site progresses over the next few months and years!
