What Is Time-lapse?
Our time-lapse system creates incredible video footage that is ideal for including in promotional films, DVDs, historical documentation or streamed straight from your website as a powerful marketing tool.
The system can be set up quickly and can remain in place for any length of time, from just a few hours to many years.
After installation we offer full technical support of your system, which is tailored to your individual requirements.
The system is highly configurable and there are several versions available depending on your exact requirements.
The production of the time-lapse footage can be as simple or elaborate as you require. For instance we can add music, introduction sequence, commentary and captions to create a fully finished product.
We offer both sales and rental of time-lapse equipment, all backed up by our expert knowledge and support.
How Does Time-lapse Work?
It works by:
- Placing a digital camera or high quality webcam in a fully weatherproof enclosure.
- This is then installed overlooking the area you would like to capture.
- The camera unit is connected to a specialised server that controls how often the photos are taken.
- The server then downloads the images from the camera and stores them safely.
- The individual images are then loaded into our specialist software to create the time-lapse sequence.
- This can then be encoded in a number of formats depending on where the footage is to be used.
How And Where Can Time-lapse Be Used?
Time-lapse production is a great way of showing many different situations.
For example:
1. If you are a Demolition Company:
- The film could show buildings and structures being demolished using different demolition techniques from mechanical demolition to explosives creating a spectacular footage of your work. This footage can then be used to promote and to market your business.
