Time-Lapse cameras installed for Circle Anglia
Regenology have been commissioned by Circle Anglia to capture the regeneration of the Mardyke Estate in Rainham using time-lapse photography.
The Mardyke estate was constructed in the 1960's to accomodate workers from the Old Ford Motor Company factory. As the factory continued to lay off workers over the years, the estate began to deteriorate and became plagued with crime and antisocial behaviour.
Circle Anglia took over the estate in March 2008 and have started a huge £80M regeneration of the area. This will involve the demolition of most of the estate and the building of 555 new homes. The project will see the area reborn as Orchard Village, with the first phase to be completed in 2011.
Regenology will be there to follow the progress of this exciting development. Richard Overton, Managing Director of Regenology says:
" Regenology are delighted to be working with Circle Anglia on this development which will result in a dramatic change to the area. Time-Lapse photography is a great way to show how a project like this can totally transform a community and deliver safe, happy and desirable neighbourhoods. We are really looking forward to seeing the results"
